One person on staff who is certified. The certified employee does not need to be on premise at all times but must be a full time employee.
Food Manager Certification
No regulations on specific training but recommended.
Food Handler Certification
Strongly suggested. Not mandatory.
Check with your local health authorities.
Food Manager – 5 years; Food Handler – 5 years.
Prometric, ServSafe, National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP)
Classroom, Online, or Pearson Testing Centers. Please check your local health department for the most up to date information.
